Information collection

Hampshire County Council on behalf of the Loddon and Test Local Action Group collects and analyses information about your business/organisation and finances, this information is necessary in order to appraise your project. However this does not involve collecting personal data not provided as part of an application, and is only used to ascertain the value of your project and whether your business is viable and your project will succeed.

Hampshire County Council may ask you to submit personal information – for example your name, your postcode and email address.

Your information will be stored for up to 7 years from the end of the LEADER Programme, however it will not be shared or passed onto any third parties and will only be used for the purpose of the Loddon and Test LEADER Programme.

Information use

Where you voluntarily choose to give us your personal details the personal data you provide Hampshire County Council will be used exclusively for providing you with the information or service you have requested.

In some cases we may invite you to sign up for additional services at the same time (for example, a regular mailing list): you can choose not to accept this invitation.

Information you give us about your business and finances will be strictly confidential and will only be used in order to appraise your project for viability and will not be shared or passed onto third parties.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Hampshire County Council will only send personally identifiable information about you to other organisations when we have your consent. We will only pass information on in order to provide the information or service you have requested or if we are required to by law.

Security

While we strive to keep the information that you supply secure, please be aware that the Internet is not a fully secure medium. We use secure servers for collecting sensitive information.  Hampshire County has Information Security and IT Security policy, rules and guidance. Council is accredited to ISO 27001 standards.  The HCC Information Security Management System (ISMS) states how important areas are to be controlled in policy documents. These policies have been approved by The IT Management Group (ITMG) and are reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Support, Quality and Security Manager.
